I'm learning

Crude men who feel themselves insulted tend to assess the degree of insult as high as possible, and talk about the offense in greatly exaggerated language, only so they can revel to their heart's content in the aroused feelings of hatred & revenge.
--Nietzsche

Instead of lashing out, this is exactly the time people need to be introspective and sensitive, and not wear their bad emotions as a badge of, in this case, dishonor!

“Anger and intolerance are the enemies of correct understanding.” ~ Mahatma Gandhi

“The arguments of ignorance are irrefutable.”

“Ignorance never settles a question.” ~ Benjamin Disraeli

Nietzche had some good things to say. How about this? A rude nature is worse than a brute nature by so much more as man is better than a beast: and those that are of civil natures and genteel dispositions are as much nearer to celestial creatures as those that are rude and cruel are to devils.~Margaret Cavendish

The enlightened person has nothing to prove to himself or others, and thus may always operate from a position of sincerity, with no pretense or posturing.~I Ching

Inequal respect is sexism, whether it's for or against. All people deserve the same degree of care, love, protection and fellowship; and more: all beings deserve respect and care.

Forgive me
